CMM Spring Conference — Got Talent Show

At this year's Chinese Methodist Mission (CMM) Spring Conference held (30 March - 2 April 2026), our church was deeply encouraged by the Got Talent Show, where Chinese Methodist churches from across the UK came together to share their gifts and support our church redevelopment.

Brothers and sisters of all ages offered fifteen performances — singing, dancing, comedy, drama and special acts — filling the afternoon with joy, laughter and heartfelt creativity. More than entertainment, each act reflected the unity, love and shared mission of the body of Christ.

Rebuilding has not been an easy journey, but over those few days God reminded us we are not alone. The love we received was not simply for our church — it flowed from a shared love for God's Kingdom, His church, and the next generation and communities we are called to reach.

The fundraising outcome was just as remarkable: our original target was £10,000, yet through everyone's generosity we raised over £34,000. We give thanks to God, whose provision far exceeds all we can ask or imagine.

This is not merely a numerical breakthrough but a testimony of God's grace. We are deeply grateful for every prayer, every act of support and every offering. As we look ahead — knowing rebuilding is not a short journey — we humbly ask for your continued prayers that God would lead us forward in unity.

Building the church is not the work of a few, nor of one congregation; we belong to a greater body in Christ where everyone plays a part. Let us keep walking by faith — not limited by what we see, but grounded in God's promises — trusting He will accomplish His good and perfect will as we journey together.
